Today, the IRS published the latest executive column “A Closer Look,” which features Harrison Smith and Justin Abold-LaBreche, co-directors, IRS Enterprise Digitalization & Case Management, discussing how they are trying to improve the taxpayer experience by modernizing and consolidating business processes and policies. “We both feel strongly that when IRS employees can rapidly resolve taxpayer issues in a simplified digital environment, we can dramatically improve the taxpayer experience,” said Smith and Abold-LaBreche.
